Chad Schmidt, Principal

Mr. Schmidt is honored to serve Tomball Elementary as Principal.  Mr. Schmidt has more than twenty years of experience working in elementary education.  He has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades and has served as a team leader, instructional specialist, assistant principal and principal.  Mr. Schmidt was the principal of Anderson Elementary in Spring ISD before joining Tomball.  Before moving to Spring, he was a teacher in Channelview ISD and in Amarillo ISD.   Mr. Schmidt received his bachelor's degree in Elementary Reading from West Texas A&M University and his master's degree in Education Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is committed to ensure high levels of learning for all students and honored to serve the Tomball Elementary community. #TESproud 

 

Samantha Hinson, Administrator
 
Mrs. Hinson is a Texas Tech graduate (Wreck ‘em Tech) but grew up and graduated from Klein High School. She started her career in Klein as a 5th grade teacher, assistant principal, and then principal. She transferred to Tomball in 2018. She loves the small town feel and close knit family in Tomball. Mrs. Hinson has two beautiful daughters. Lexi and Ella both attend Tomball Elementary School. 
 
Mrs. Hinson is beyond excited to join the TES family and to get to know all the students, families and staff.  Her door is always open to help in any way that is needed.
 

Melissa Baudoin  (Bo-Dwah), Assistant Principal

Mrs. Baudoin is a graduate of Texas State University and Lamar University with a bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration.  She taught 4th and 5th grade for a combined 6 years in Katy ISD and Tomball ISD before becoming and instructional specialist in Tomball ISD for 6 years. Her two kids will proudly join her and the Cougar family, and she is honored to serve as a campus administrator at TES! #TESProud
