Paloma Moreno, Assistant Principal

Ms. Moreno is excited to be coming back "home" to Tomball Elementary where she has the honor to serve in a new role as Assistant Principal. Most of her career has been spent supporting learning for all students, with a focus on language learners. She fell in love with Tomball ISD during student teaching and joined Team Tomball in 2011. In eight years in the district she has taught dual language Kindergarten and 4th grade at Tomball Elementary and subsequently dual language 5th grade at Tomball Intermediate. She then moved into an Instructional Specialist role where she supported bilingual & ESL teachers and students at two TISD elementaries. This year, there was a unique opportunity to come back to where it all started at Tomball Elementary and serve as an administrator while also serving a second campus. Ms. Moreno will serve both Tomball Elementary and Rosehill Elementary by splitting her week between both campuses. She is a University of Houston Cougar through and through receiving her bachelor's degree in Bilingual Education in 2011, her master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2017, and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Educational Policy and Leadership at UH as well.. Go Coogs! Ms. Moreno is fully committed to ensuring high levels of learning for all students by supporting them with personal and intentional academic instruction as well as meeting their social and emotional needs. Looking forward to an amazing school year!
