Meet Mrs. Esquivel

Hello! I am Brandilyn Esquivel. I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies. This will be my 17th year as an educator and I couldn't be more excited! Previously I have worked in Cleburne as a 1st grade teacher, ESL Specialist and Dyslexia interventionist. After moving down to the Tomball area I had the pleasure of teaching 1st, 2nd and 4th grade in CyFair ISD. I am looking forward to continuing my career as the ESL Specialist at TES.
As a Junior in High School I had the opportunity to be an Exchange Student to France with the Rotary Club of Amarillo. That experience taught me so many things among which was the need for understanding and strategies to use as a language learner. I look back on what I needed and I use that to guide my teaching with my own English Language Learners. I celebrate our differences, and know that what is unique about each of us is what brings us all together. I am on a life long journey of learning and growing and I continue to research and find the best practices to help and guide my students on their way to being successful members of our community. I look forward to a productive and exciting year with the hopes we can all find joy in these crazy days ahead!
