Good Afternoon Terrific TES Families!

This is a great week at TES with lots of fall activities beginning with the Book Fair all week long.   Come by and visit the Book Fair when you come and have lunch with your child or visit on the late night Thursday or the early morning on Friday. The Book Fair will be open until 7:15 on Thursday night and will open early on Friday at 7:30 am.   Thank you for your support of the Book Fair and our amazing TES library!

On Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30, TES will have our Math/Science Night and this is a chance to learn about math and science in your child's grade level and throughout the school.   We will have experiments and resources for learning in both areas as we work to connect learning between school and home.

Friday morning is our Donuts with Dads event in the cafeteria.   Doors will open at 7:30 am and dads and students will be able to enjoy some donuts and juice together before school starts.  After your donut, go by and visit the Book Fair before it closes.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week so watch for a list of activities coming home in this week's Wednesday folder.

Happy Friday!!
We currently have an overflow of snacks! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! I will put in a new snack calendar when we start to run low.
We are going to preview the book fair as a class on Tuesday the 17th.
Math and science night is on the 19th. Come on out and enjoy the fun!

Good morning,
I recently sent home information from parent orientation night. Please be sure to review and sign the Science Safety Contract.
Thank you so much! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Don't Forget!

Tonight is Watch Dog Night. Dads and kids come out and learn all about our WATCH Dog program. Enjoy pizza and fun! 5:30-7

Thursday from 5:30-7 is parent orientation. Come learn all about kindergarten!

Parent Orientation

9/21/17: PK-Second Grade
9/28/2017: Third and Fourth Grade

This evening is designed for parents to spend some time as a group with their child's teacher, learning about the classroom set up, procedures, communications, curriculum, and everything else parents might need to know.

Please join us in the cafeteria for a general meeting at 5:30, then we will send everyone to the teachers’ classrooms.

This night is designed for parents and teachers, so if possible please make other arrangements for your children. Due to the nature of the evening, we will not be able to accommodate individual conferences with the teacher. This is a whole group session with the teacher. If you are interested in a conference with your child's teacher, you can email them to set up a time. Parking will be a challenge, so if you live close by you might consider walking or carpooling with neighbors/friends.
