Pamella Chatham, Principal

Mrs. Chatham is 1996 graduate of the University of Houston--Clear Lake where she obtained her Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Bachelor's degree in History and Elementary Education. She joined Tomball ISD in 2013 as an assistant principal at TES. Prior to working in TISD, she served as an assistant principal in Amarillo ISD for three years and as an assistant principal in Clear Creek ISD for six years. Before becoming an administrator, she worked as a reading recovery teacher. She began her education career as a special education paraprofessional and then taught kindergarten, second, and fourth grades. She is excited to serve you and your children here at Tomball Elementary.

Kerri Ashlock, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Ashlock earned her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Reading specialization from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1999. She began her teaching career as a fifth grade teacher in Hempstead ISD. In 2001, Mrs. Ashlock joined Tomball Elementary as a third grade teacher. After she earned her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Sam Houston State University in 2007, she served Tomball Elementary and Creekside Forest Elementary as a Gifted and Talented Specialist. Later, Mrs. Ashlock joined Tomball Intermediate School where she served as an ESL Specialist and a fifth grade Language Arts teacher. Mrs. Ashlock returned home to TES as an assistant principal in 2013.

Marc Kampwerth, Assistant Principal

Mr. Kampwerth earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 2000. He spent three years teaching sixth grade in Illinois. In 2003, Mr. Kampwerth moved to Texas and taught for the next seven years in Lamar CISD and Cypress Fairbanks ISD. After earning his master’s degree from University of Houston – Clear Lake, Mr. Kampwerth completed three years as a junior high assistant principal in Alvin ISD.  In 2013, he returned to Lamar CISD as an elementary instructional coordinator and math teacher.  After a move to Tomball in 2015, Mr. Kampwerth started at Oakcrest Intermediate as a sixth grade math teacher before being named the assistant principal at TES in January of 2016.
